Ozone layer

Serious wear of the ozone layer will cause an increase in melanomas (cancer) skin, cataracts, suppression of the immune system in humans and other species. It also causes crops to disappear.
To preserve the ozone layer should be decreased to zero the use of chemical compounds such as chlorofluorocarbons (industrial refrigerants, propellants) and soil fungicides (eg methyl bromide) which destroy the ozone layer at a rate 50 times CFCs.
